Pasta came into our lives as a puppy who needed a home. She had been separated from her mother early, and we never fully knew what she had experienced before joining our family.

What we did know was how hard it was for her when we left the house.

The whining. The barking. The crying. It was heartbreaking.

At the time, BarkTunes didn't exist. I wish it had.

Years later, while working with calming music originally created to help infants relax and sleep, a friend mentioned something unexpected — it worked on their dog too. That's when it clicked. We had lived that same struggle.

We spent over a year carefully re-engineering the music — refining tones and rhythms for canine nervous-system support. What we saw was remarkable: dogs relaxing more quickly, becoming visibly calmer, and staying calmer when the music became part of their daily routine.

BarkTunes was created to help other families experience what we wished we had with Pasta — calmer dogs and happier homes.
